A group of employees from Scottish Water have been supporting us through an annual cycle raising funds for Highland Hospice and Water Aid. Staff from Fort William, Inverness, Oban, Ullapool and Skye cycled the gruelling NC500 route in 2015 and 2016.
And not only that – the team aims to complete the annual challenge in under 48 hours. Incredibly, they finished in 39 hours in 2015 and 37 hours 45 minutes the year after!
For 2017 the team are trying out a new route, taking in the Southern Highlands. The entire route is over 500 miles, and we're sure they'll be keen to beat their time once again!
Over the years the team have supported Highland Hospice in other ways too, putting forward contacts and sharing ideas. The team of cyclists even came along to help us move out of our offices when the rebuild was taking place.
