Lizzie McCoo Goes up for Auction

15th June 2016

Inverness lady Marjory Muir has kindly organised a fabulous auction prize for Highland Hospice in the form of a Steven Brown Art Limited Edition Print of Lizzie McCoo.

Kind-hearted Marjory, who has had two children’s books published in aid of Highland Hospice featuring her knitted characters Barra Bear and Carly Cat, has also knitted a ‘Cousin Lizzie’ to accompany the print as well as two small ‘Cooey McCoo’ faces. To complete the package she is including a copy of each of her books, ‘Barra Bear and Carly Cat’s Teeny Tiny Tour of the Highlands’ and ‘Barra Bear and Carly Cat’s Teeny Tiny Tour of Scotland.’

Bidding for the items is already at £500, and Marjory is urging others to take a look and place their offer! To do so, you must visit www.facebook.com/BarraandCarly and place your bid before Thursday 30th June.

Fundraiser Carrie MacIntyre said, “We are so grateful to Marjory for her dedicated support of Highland Hospice, and to Steven Brown for this fantastic donation. The Lizzie McCoo print is just gorgeous and will look stunning on the lucky winner’s wall.”
