Gordon's Great Wilderness Challenge

11 September 2013

A massive well done and thank you to Gordon Ferguson who completed the 25 mile route of this year's Great Wilderness Challenge which took place on Saturday 24 August.  Gordon, who lives in Aberdeen, has raised an incredible £2,035 so far for the Hospice through his challenge.

Gordon says, It was certainly an experience! I had not run the 25 mile route before, but had always intended to.  I completed the 13 mile route as a younger man.  As I turned 40 this year I decided to get it done before I get too old and .....I am glad I did it, but not sure I will again!!\"

We think Gordon did really well and is inspiration for anyone who wishes to participate in this hugely popular event next year.  The organisers of Great Wilderness Challenge have supported Highland Hospice right from the very start, and we are extremely grateful for their support.
