Participating because.......
After my wife passed away due to Pancreatic Cancer in August 2018, I decided to do something on her behalf to combat cancer. In 2019, I ran the Manchester Half Marathon and took part in the Inverness Ultra White Collar Boxing event to raise money for Cancer Research. I now want to raise money for the Highland Hospice by challenging myself further and taking part in ‘Strictly Inverness’. On a selfish note, I have always wanted to learn to dance properly.
In a sentence........
I am a determined, confident man who works hard, plays hard and tries not to take himself and life in general too seriously.
Interesting fact.......
I met my late wife in Kuwait when we both took up teaching posts there in the mid 1980s. We also worked in Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
