Applications are now open for Strictly Inverness 2018. The search is on for 16 men and 16 ladies to participate in this unique experience and raise funds for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.
The glitzy competition has been running since 2010, making this its ninth event. Over the past eight years, it has raised close to a net £1 million for the two benefiting charities. Compered by Brian Elrick, it begins on Wednesday 16 May with a launch show featuring talent from various Highland dance schools. On Thursday 17 and Friday 18 May, eight couples perform two individual and one group dance, with the top four from each night entering Saturday’s Grand Final where the winning couple are crowned.
To apply, you must be prepared to attend at least three hours of dance tuition each week from January to May and, most importantly, commit fully to fundraising for the charities.
Applicants should also be be over 18 and have little or no previous dance experience.
