We are needing some help to process for a short period of time over the summer to process the donations that come in from the appeal mailing.

Aim or goal of position

We receive two thirds of our funding from various fundraising events & campaigns, and through public generosity. The role of a Data Entry Volunteer is essential to helping process the incoming donations and acknowledgements through the Fundraising Database, Raisers Edge, This is your opportunity to make a valued contribution to our busy fundraising team.

Main responsibilities and suggested activities

This task involves the use of our Raiser’s Edge database. You will be processing all the donations that come in from the appeal mailing.

Skills / attributes and/or qualification(s) required

  • Accuracy and reliability are essential.
  • Typing and computing skills (Word and Excel) are essential.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised are essential.
  • A level of commitment to work on a regular basis is essential.
  • Previous database experience would be helpful.
  • Ability to work well in a team is desirable.
  • Good communication skills are desirable.

Estimated hours

2 - 3 hours on a Wednesday for a 6 week period
