Online Support Groups

Our Rehabilitation and Wellbeing Team offers a range of weekly online Zoom meetings for people living in the Highlands with life-shortening conditions. These sessions are listed below, and are all free to attend. Some require that you book a place, while others are open for you to join whenever you wish.

Tuesdays

10am-12noon: Memory & Concentration

5-week cognitive rehab course aimed at anyone who is coping with post treatment cognitive changes such as memory challenges, brain fog, concentration and attention, planning and learning new things. Run jointly with the Psychologist at Maggies.

11am-12noon: Men's Group

An opportunity for male patients to meet together to gain support and share knowledge and interests.

2pm-3pm: Creative Group

A chance to discuss creativity and the arts. Join in with a simple art activity or just join and observe. All welcome- no booking required. Click here to join on Zoom.


Wednesdays

11am-12noon: Women's Group

An opportunity for female patients to meet together to gain support and share knowledge and interests.

2pm-3pm: Health and Wellbeing

A programme of interactive sessions, providing information, tools and techniques to support health and wellbeing, covering a variety of topics including managing symptoms, feeling good, staying active and planning ahead. All welcome- no booking required. Click here to join on Zoom.

10.30am-11.30am: Social Group

2pm-3pm: Family and Friends Support Group

A group for those who are supporting and caring for someone with life-shortening illness. A place to come together, share knowledge and experience and be part of a community of support. All welcome- no booking required. Click here to join on Zoom.

11am-12.30pm: Get Outdoors Group
