Always in Our Hearts
Due to the restrictions of lockdown, recent times have been particularly difficult for people who have been bereaved. Many people feel that they have been unable to mark the death of loved ones in ways that they would wish, or have the space for ritual in their bereavement.
Always In Our Hearts offers us an opportunity to use our memories, words, and creativity to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died. It is our hope that our online service, and digital In Memoriam book will help to provide both personal and public ways of remembering across the Highlands.

'Time to Remember' Online Service
Light in the Darkness
We will be holding our spring 'Time to Remember' service online this year. The service will be shared on the Highland Hospice YouTube channel at 11am on Saturday 15th May.
Please join us for this service, which will include some poems, a short reflection and prayers, and some music to evoke special memories of those who are always in our hearts.
Our theme is 'Light in the Darkness' , where our Chaplain Norma Higgott will reflect on Covid-19 and lockdown and how that has impacted our grief. She looks at how we have walked with our grief and how we can see a light in the darkness, a light at the end of the tunnel of Covid
In Memoriam Book
We welcome contributions to our online 'In Memoriam' book. A dedication can be made for anyone you wish to remember; there does not need to be a specific link with Highland Hospice.
You can either browse the book in its entirety or search for a specific person’s dedication.
If you would like to post a tribute in memory of a loved one in this online book, you can complete the form on this page. No donation is necessary in order to post your tribute.
