Childhood Bereavement Support Worker (p/t)
Highland Hospice is looking to appoint a part-time Childhood Bereavement Support Worker.
The post-holder will work with children, young people and families who are referred to the bereavement service, undertaking holistic assessments and working with the client/s to form appropriate plans for support.
You will provide therapeutic and emotional support through a range of creative approaches, working in a sensitive and person-centred approach. You will have extensive experience working with children and young people in both one-to-one and group settings.
In addition, you will provide advice, guidance and resources to families and professionals on supporting children and young people who are bereaved. The post holder must be available to work flexibly, this may include some evening and weekend hours.
