Community & Supportive Services Manager

The Highland Hospice is looking to appoint a Community & Supportive Services Manager.

This new post offers an opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident individual to undertake the leadership, management, development and coordination of the community and Supportive care services delivered to patients/clients, and family members/carers by the Hospice across the Highlands. This includes Social Work, Chaplaincy, Adult and Child Bereavement Services, the volunteer befriending and support services, and the developing community social care services.

You will demonstrate strong, effective and innovative leadership and management qualities with a degree in a relevant psychosocial discipline and a breadth of experience in health and/or social care. Ideally, you will also have experience in working with community teams and a commitment to multidisciplinary working. You will have a broad knowledge of a wide range of medical conditions with experience in working in palliative and end of life care, although training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
