3 Glens Community Care Development Officer and Services Co-ordinator

Terms/Hours: 2 years Fixed Term, 15hrs per week (flexible). Home working negotiable.

Salary: £26,000 - £30,250 pro rata, dependent on experience

Purpose of role: To promote and manage existing wellbeing services; identify and develop new ones. The post-holder will perform, coordinate and oversee a wide variety of duties on behalf of the Trustees, and work closely with partnership organisations.

Responsible to: 3 Glens Community Care Board of Trustees

Desirable skills and Knowledge:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent IT skills (MS Office, social media)
  • Be self-motivated and work independently and proactively with a minimum level of supervision.
  • Understanding and experience of volunteering and the Third Sector.
  • Knowledge of community engagement and involvement.
  • Be able to identify community needs and/or gaps in service provision.

Own transport and driving licence essential.

As this is a community role, it would be ideal - but not essential, that the successful applicant would be familiar with the rural 3 Glens area of Glengarry, Fort Augustus, and Glenmoriston.
