Strictly is Back!

Strictly Inverness returns in 2026 to celebrate its 15th anniversary and this year we are delighted to welcome back Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke as guest judge for our Final. 

Since it launched in 2010, this competition has raised almost £3 million for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.

Applications are now closed and our 32 contestants are in training with experienced dance tutors, as well as organising a variety of events to boost their fundraising.

All Stars – Former Contestants!
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Strictly Inverness, we've invited dancers from every year since 2010 to return for a special All Stars group dance on all four show nights, 13–16 May 2026. This is thier chance to relive the buzz, reconnect with fellow contestants, and share experiences with the next generation of dancers.

Places are limited to 20, with weekly Monday rehearsals starting January, and a small fundraising commitment for costume and tuition. Applications are closed

Wednesday 13 May - Dance Showcase Launch Night

Wednesday's opening show is a family night which includes both Team Thursday and Team Friday group dances, as well as fabulous showcase performances from the region’s top local dance schools and their tutors.

Thursday 14 and Friday 15 May - Strictly Inverness Heats

Eight couples perform two individual dances on Thursday and Friday nights, plus a group dance in front of an audience and panel of judges. Each evening we announce the top four ranked couples, based on a combination of the judges’ scores, votes placed by the audience and fundraising efforts. These eight successful couples will go through to Saturday’s Grand Finale.

Saturday 16 May - Strictly Inverness Grand Finale

The top four couples from Thursday and Friday nights’ events battle it out to see who will be crowned the overall champions of Strictly Inverness 2026.
