Strictly is Back!
Strictly Inverness returns in 2027, bringing even more sparkle, spectacle and show‑stopping talent to the Highland capital. This year promises a brand new line-up of local stars ready to take to the floor, raise the roof, and raise vital funds for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.
Since its launch in 2010, the event has generated over £3 million for two much‑loved local charities, a testament to the passion, generosity and spirit of the Highland community.
Applications are now open, and once they close in late October, we’ll select 32 new contestants who will begin their journey: training with expert dance tutors, mastering their routines, and fundraising as they work towards an unforgettable Finals Week.
All Stars – Former Contestants!
After the incredible response to last year’s All Stars performance, we’re excited to welcome former Strictly Inverness contestants back once again for a special group routine across all four show nights in 2027. It’s the perfect chance to relive the thrill of the stage, reconnect with fellow dancers, and help inspire the new group stepping into the spotlight for the first time.
Places are limited to 20, with rehearsals beginning in the new year and a small fundraising commitment to support costume and tuition.
Applications are now open for returning dancers who want to be part of this year’s All Stars showcase.
Wednesday 19th May - Dance Showcase Launch Night
Wednesday's opening show is a family night which includes both Team Thursday and Team Friday group dances, as well as fabulous showcase performances from the region’s top local dance schools and their tutors.
Thursday 20th and Friday 21st May - Strictly Inverness Heats
Eight couples perform two individual dances on Thursday and Friday nights, plus a group dance in front of an audience and panel of judges. Each evening we announce the top four ranked couples, based on a combination of the judges’ scores, votes placed by the audience and fundraising efforts. These eight successful couples will go through to Saturday’s Grand Finale.
Saturday 22nd May - Strictly Inverness Grand Finale
The top four couples from Thursday and Friday nights’ events battle it out to see who will be crowned the overall champions of Strictly Inverness 2027.
