Leaving a Gift in Your Will
Gifts in wills are crucial to the survival and growth of our Hospice. Leaving a gift in your will is simple and doing so helps ensure the long term future of Highland Hospice, giving us the confidence that we will have the funding we need to continue to care for and support the people of the Highlands when they need us.
When it comes to making your will, we understand that your loved ones will come first. But by including a percentage of what is left to Highland Hospice, you can help future-proof your hospice.
Our care increases quality of life by reducing pain and suffering, enabling our patients and their families to make the most of the precious time they have left together. Our services are offered freely to everyone who needs them but they are also costly to deliver. We receive an annual grant from the NHS, but we must still raise more than 75% of our income.
Help Highland Hospice care live on for all, for now, forever, with a gift in your will.
Larger gifts can help Highland Hospice continue to be a pioneer for palliative care and support services Highland-wide, investing in new vital services to meet the changing demands of our community. Smaller gifts can help us make sure those we care for live the best possible life and experience the best possible death, giving them the chance to make special memories with their loved ones in their last days.
We're here to help...
We understand that you may like further information before deciding whether to include Highland Hospice in your will. Whilst you may prefer to discuss some of these things privately with your solicitor, if there is anything you would like to ask us, please get in touch. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
In some circumstances we are able to act as executor of your will, offering additional peace of mind that your wishes will be followed.
If you have decided to leave Highland Hospice a gift in your will, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
