Photography Competition 2026
We are once again looking for stunning photographs of Highland scenery and wildlife to produce our annual calendar and scenic Christmas card collection.
To meet the requirements of the calendar and Christmas cards, all photographs should be in landscape format with a file size between 1.5MB and 10MB.
All images must have been taken in the Scottish Highlands or any part of Moray west of Forres. This does not include the Western Isles, Orkney or Shetland.
All published photographs will be credited to the photographer and you will receive free copies of our calendar, and/or Christmas card pack as a thank you for your support.
The closing date for entries is Wednesday 31st December 2025.
Terms and Conditions
By submitting an image to this competition participants grant full rights to Highland Hospice for the image to be used for any fundraising, promotional or commercial activity. This permission includes but is not limited to the use of the submitted photos in the following contexts:
- Display in By the River Café, Highland Hospice, Ness House, 1 Bishops Road, Inverness, IV3 5SB
- Online publication and publication through social networks
- Production and sale of the Highland Hospice Calendar, Christmas cards or greeting cards
Whenever Highland Hospice publishes the submitted photos, participants will always be named as the creator together with their full name.
Photographers may submit more than one picture. An entry form must be completed for each picture.

All images must be in landscape format and have a minimum size of 1.5MB. Screenshots and photos previously transferred by WhatsApp will not be accepted.
With your participation, you confirm you are the photographer and copyright owner of the uploaded photos and therefore have unlimited right of use. Participants further assure that the photos uploaded by them are free of third-party rights.
Data Protection
Highland Hospice will store your data securely for the purposes of keeping you updated with the progress of the Photography Competition 2026.
