ACT 1: STRICTLY THEMED
Showcase recognisable Ballroom and/or Latin styles through your own creative choreography.
The Rules:
- Movement over Costume: The theme must be clear in the dance style itself, not just what you wear (creative and contemporary twists are welcome!).
- Pure Dance: Spotlight is strictly on dancing—no singing involved.
- Group Size: No restrictions.
The Prize: Judged on creativity, choreography, performance, musicality, and original theme execution. The winner will perform live at the Thursday Night Strictly Semi-Final!
ACT 2: MUSICALS FREESTYLE
Bring the magic of the West End to the stage—with a Strictly twist!
How it Works: Each group will be assigned a musical by our team (to keep it fair and varied). You pick any track from that show and create an original, inventive performance in your group’s own specialist style. You don't need to recreate the original show—think outside the box!
The Rules:
- Allocated Show, Your Choice of Song: You must stick to your assigned musical, but the track choice is yours.
- Original Choreography: Interpret the show your own way—traditional replication is not required.
- Pure Dance: Spotlight is strictly on dancing—no singing involved.
- Group Size: No restrictions.
The Prize: Judged on creativity, original interpretation, performance, and musicality. The winner will perform live at the Friday Night Strictly Semi-Final!

It’s not just down to the judges! On the night, our in-house audience will vote for their overall favourite performance to crown the Audience Favourite Winner.

Entry Fee: £100 per act (payable once selected). Groups can pay this directly, secure a sponsor, or raise the funds through their own fundraising efforts
