Stuart’s Tour de Highlands

18 July 2015

Barbara Dillon (67), her son Morris and a few friends have completed an astonishing fundraising cycle in memory of Barbara’s late son Stuart who passed away at Highland Hospice at the young age of 30 in 2005.  Barbara, Morris and the team (Johnny Croall, Tam Magowan and Scott Wilson) have cycled 500 miles from Highland Hospice via  Berriedale Braes, Reay, Kinlochbervie, Ullapool, Dornie finishing at Rosemarkie Beach on Friday 17th July.  Stuart has a memorial bench on the beach where the team plan raised a toast to him at the end of their epic cycle. The team’s incredible accomplishment has raised a wonderful £6,300 so far, and the pennies are still coming in! Well done to all of you and your support team too!
