Highland Hospice has said a big thank you to the organisers of Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival for the ongoing support they offer the charity.

In partnership with the Hospice, the festival each year offers a fantastic raffle where the prize is a family ticket complete with bar tokens and hook-up for a luxury motorhome donated by Coast to Glen Motorhome Hire. The Hospice will also be donated a free charity pitch at the 2020 festival in order to sell raffle tickets for the 2021 event.

In addition, Highland Hospice has received twelve tickets for Belladrum 2020, three pairs as featured prizes for the Hospice’s organised fundraising events and two pairs for the Hospice’s bi-annual online auction.

A pair of tickets is also featured in a large raffle which supports the contestants of Strictly Inverness. Thirty-two novice dancers (sixteen couples) begin their dance training this month, preparing to perform in front of a large audience at Inverness Ice Centre from Wednesday 13th May to Saturday 16th May. As part of their commitment to the two benefiting charities, Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre, each participant is required to fundraise to the best of their ability. This raffle allows each dancer to sell as many tickets as possible to support their individual involvement, and last year raised an incredible £40,000 for the charities.

Highland Hospice Fundraiser Emma Nicol said, “We cannot say a big enough thank you to the organisers of Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival for their generous ongoing support. Tickets to the festival are such a huge draw for any raffle or auction, especially as it continues to grow from strength to strength. To be offered 14 tickets this year really is incredible and will be such a huge help to us in continuing to provide the best possible care we can to our patients and their families.”

Lesley Strang from Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival added, “It is our pleasure to support Highland Hospice in this way, and we are delighted with the success of these raffles and auctions. The Hospice is such an important local charity which provides excellent care, security and comfort to many during an incredibly difficult time.”

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival runs from 30th July – 1st August 2020
