Highland Hospice has received a rare bottle of whisky from Lord Lovat's private collection, to be sold in its forthcoming Whisky Auctions at the end of this month.
Only 777 bottles of Old Fox were ever produced by Ben Nevis, and the Hospice has been generously gifted one of these by the Lovat Estate.
Pictured holding the donation is Grant Macpherson, Managing Director at Dingwall Auction.
Hospice Fundraiser Fiona Stoddart said, "This is such a generous donation from Lord Lovat's private collection which we expect will raise between £900 to £1300."
"We are so grateful to the Lovat Estate for their generosity and to Grant at Dingwall Mart for hosting our auction on 27th November."
She added, "We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of individuals and businesses who have gifted us bottles to sell as part of our first ever Whisky Auctions. There are a number of fantastic bottles on offer - we have even had one signed by Peat n Diesel which we expect will be popular!"
The Highland Hospice lots will be sold online with Whisky Auctioneer Ltd, live from Friday 27th November and at Fraser’s Auction Room, Dingwall Mart, also on Friday 27th November.
Any donations of bottles will be gratefully received. These can be dropped into the Hospice reception on Bishops Road or you can contact Fiona Stoddart.
