Highland Hospice is offering a huge incentive for any child who signs up to either the Wee Nessie (for pre-school children aged 5 and under) or River Ness 5K options in this year’s Baxters Festival of Running on Sunday 29th September.

All children who raise over £50 in sponsorship for the charity will be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000 to spend in Smyths Toy Superstore. Not only this, but the highest fundraiser for the charity will automatically also receive a £1,000 Smyths voucher!

Fundraiser Carrie Macdonald said, “This prize truly is every child or young person’s dream, and we hope that it entices many to put on their trainers and run in support of the Hospice later this month. The odds of winning are high!”

“The atmosphere at Baxters is incredible every year, and participating in this fabulous event results in a real sense of achievement and excitement whatever your age or ability.”

Children are urged to sign up for the event by registering here and then, importantly, clicking here to begin fundraising!

Carrie added, “It will be amazing to see all the youngsters in their yellow Hospice t-shirts on the day, and we can’t wait to deliver these vouchers to our two lucky winners, who are going to be extremely happy!”
