Back in March, as part of our annual Hospice Day fundraising, we asked you to support the conversion of our underused three-bed room in our Inpatient Unit into two single en-suite bedrooms.
Your response was amazing and we raised the final £75,000 we needed to greenlight the project. We have now completed these works.
The creation of the two single rooms will increase flexibility and help us increase the number of people we can support with our specialist inpatient services. Patients and their families will receive higher levels of privacy and improved dignity at the end of life.
