Fundraising Ideas

Your Special Occasions

If you have a birthday, anniversary or a special reunion with your friends and family coming up, why not consider asking for donations to Highland Hospice in lieu of gifts?

You can easily set up an online fundraising page for this occasion thanks to our Everyday Hero partner. Please click here if you would like to create your own fundraising page, or we can lend you a bucket or collecting tin for the evening.

Wedding Favours

If you would like to support Highland Hospice on your special day, why not ask us for some wedding favours?

The photo shows our standard wedding favour template card which features the Highland Hospice mascot Bobby the Bee.

The wording on this can be adapted any way you like - perhaps there is a verse or quote which is personal to you.  In addition to a full colour badge of our sunflower logo, we have several Celtic pin badge designs to choose from - with the badge being attached to the top right of the card. We usually offer Celtic pin badges for adults and the badges shown on the left card are offered for children.

The suggested donation is £1 per favour but it is up to you to decide how much you would like to give.

If you would like to place an order, we would require:

  • The name of the bride and groom
  • The wedding date
  • The number of adult and child favours
  • The date you require them to be ready for

Payment can be made by cash, card or cheque on collection.

#wearyellow

The last week of April is Highland Hospice Fundraising Week and the focus of our #wearyellow campaign. Simply wear one yellow item - or if you’re brave, dress fully in yellow – for the day and donate to Highland Hospice.  To make the day more special why not host a bake sale at work or in school or hold a yellow themed party at home or in the local hall or hotel.

#mincepiemonday

The second Monday in December is #mincepiemonday, a chance to get together at work, at home or in the community for mince pies and cake while making a donation to the Hospice.   The aim each #mincepiemonday is to raise the £7,800 it takes to run Highland Hospice on Christmas Day.
