Are you up for a unique and exciting challenge?

From January to May 2025 you must be able to commit to:

fundraising for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre
dance training
being available from 14th - 17th May 2025
having a whole lot of fun……

and it could be you performing in front of our special guest judge Amy Dowden!

Commitment involves three hours of dance lessons per week (plus extra rehearsal time) and fundraising to the best of your ability for the benefiting charities.

You will then perform two individual dances with your partner (also a novice) and a group dance, in front of an audience of 600 people plus a panel of judges in May.

Please note - all applicants must be over 18 and have little or no dance experience.

Why do you want to compete in Strictly Inverness?

Have you had any experience of the services/facilities provided by Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre, or have you previously helped to fundraise for either cause?

How would you go about fundraising for the two local charities that benefit from this fundraiser in the run up to the competition? (List some of your fundraising ideas)

Fundraising is at the heart of the Strictly Inverness competition and is the real reason the event exists. Please note, in addition we ask each dancer if they can source a corporate sponsor who would be willing to contribute to their involvement. This helps us to cover the costs of outfits and accessories etc.

In a sentence, tell us something different or unusual about yourself that not many people would know.

Is your availability restricted in any way? Please state if you work shift patterns, or work evenings or weekends.

All dancers are required to undertake at least 3 hours of tuition each week, as well as spending time fundraising for the charities. Lessons are generally held on evenings/weekends.

Do you feel that you are physically capable of training for at least three hours each week? Please list any concerns you may have.

Have you had any previous dance experience (lessons etc?) Please stipulate when and to what level if yes.
