Two Night Catwalk of Strength, Hope, Courage & Inspiration
Local businesswoman Alison McRitchie has announced the return of her ‘Catwalk for a Cause’ event, which will take place in the Drumossie Hotel on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th February 2026 in support of Highland Hospice. For the first year, the event will take place over two incredible nights.
Last year’s event raised a total of £80,335 with brave models taking to the catwalk, sharing their stories and inspiring all in attendance. Brought to the charity by its organiser Alison McRitchie, the glitzy event showcases models sharing their own personal experiences of life-limiting illness.
All models at the event will wear items from Highland Hospice’s pre-loved retail collection, and there will be high quality items for sale on the night, highlighting the charity’s sustainability drive.
Alison describes her event; “This is more than just a fashion show – it will be a celebration of courage, resilience and the human spirit. We were so blown away with all the brave warriors who wrote in, for the first time ever we just had to make it a TWO night event!
Our models will take to the runway not only to showcase style from Highland Hospice’s boutiques, but to share their personal journeys of strength, hope, courage and inspiration.
Each model will have the chance to tell their story – whether of overcoming challenges, embracing triumphs, celebrating a life or standing as a symbol of courage - before a packed audience of supporters, friends and loved ones.
Catwalk for a Cause is designed to create an unforgettable evening filled with powerful moments, heartfelt connections and lasting memories.”
Highland Hospice fundraiser Emma Nicol said, “We can’t thank Alison enough for bringing this event to us for a fourth year. She truly is incredible, and shares a huge bond with the models due to her own brave battle with breast cancer, it's very exciting that for the first time ever we'll be having two catwalk shows to accommodate all the inspiring people who wrote in. Huge thanks also to our main event sponsors Mary MacFarlane Financial Planning and The Head Gardener for their overwhelming generosity.”
