How wonderful would an extra £2,000 be this summer? For just £1 per entry, that could be a reality for you with our Summer Raffle. What’s more, every ticket bought supports the vital care and comfort that our hospice provides to patients and their families across the Highlands.

The raffle is open until 11th August 2026 and the draw takes place on 17th August 2026. We will be in touch with the lucky winner by telephone, emaili or post after that date. We will also post the winner information here.

Summer Raffle Details
- The Highland Hospice Summer Raffle 2026 is a ticketless prize draw, with our mail recipients being able to purchase entries on the mailing reply form or online entries open to everyone. Any entries purchased in the mailing reply forms will be added to our online raffle platform.
- Reply forms should be returned or tickets purchased online by 11th August 2026.
- Draw takes place at 17th August 2026.
- The winner will be drawn using a random number generator. Entries purchased on mailing reply forms and online tickets have an equal chance of winning.
- There is one £2,000 winner.
- We last ran a raffle of this nature in 2025. Based on the results last year, we estimate ticket sales to be around 10,600 so for each ticket purchased, your odds of winning the £2,000 prize are projected to be 1 in 10,600.
Prize Fund and Proceeds
- The total prize fund is £2,000 which has been donated by Campbell Plant Hire Ltd Inverness Campbell Plant Hire – Plant Hire and Sales
- There are additional costs to running and promoting the raffle of approximately £2,500 including printing, mailing postage and online platform costs.
- All further monies generated by the Summer Raffle fund Highland Hospice to provide and support palliative, end-of-life and social care throughout the Highlands.

By entering the Highland Hospice Summer Raffle you agree that:
a) you are 18 years of age or over;
b) you are a resident of Scotland, England (excluding the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) or Wales;
c) you will not buy an entry to the Summer Raffle on behalf of anybody under the age of 18;
d) you will provide accurate entry information and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise, including the change of your contact details;
e) you will comply with these terms as well as the rules and regulations of the Gambling Commission under legislation detailed in the Gambling Act 2005 and any further instructions or rules issued by Highland Hospice.
2. Each ticket you purchase is converted into a single ‘entry’ that is then entered into the electronic draw. Winners are chosen at random using a Random Number Generator.
3. There will be one winner of £2,000. This prize was kindly donated to us by Campbell Plant Hire (Inverness).
4. You can purchase entries for the Highland Hospice Summer Raffle by mailing reply form or online. Each £1 entry you purchase is entered into our electronic draw. Our Summer Raffle mail pack is addressed and mailed to individual supporters who we have identified as being potentially interested in this type of fundraising activity.
Playing by Post
If you are an existing supporter, you may receive our Summer Raffle mailing in the post. Tickets cost £1 each and each ticket you purchase is converted into a single ‘entry’ that is then entered into the electronic draw.
All entries must be submitted by posting your Entry Form, payment to Highland Hospice, Ness House, 1 Bishops Road, Inverness IV3 5SB or in the freepost envelope included with the mailing by 11th August 2026.
You can make payment in one of the following ways:
By cheque or postal order made payable to ‘Highland Hospice’ or;
By completing your card details on the Entry Form.
Playing Online
Tickets for our Summer Raffle can also be purchased online here. We trust Zeffy to handle our online payments. Please note that credit card payments are not accepted for the sale of raffle tickets online as per Gambling Commission regulations.
Each ticket purchased for £1 each will be converted into a single ‘entry’ then entered into the electronic draw. The sale of online tickets will close on 11th August 2026.
5. The winner of the £2,000 prize will be notified by phone, email or post and results will also be published on the Highland Hospice website and may also be included in promotional material.
6. Your purchase of Summer Raffle tickets is from Highland Hospice in accordance with these terms as amended from time to time.
7. Underage gambling is an offence. You must be 18 years or older to purchase tickets for the Summer Raffle. We may contact you at random to verify your age. We will also contact you to verify your age if there is any suggestion you may be under 18. Any person who has entered a draw who is under 18 years old will automatically forfeit any prize. If someone under 18 years old is found to have participated in the Summer Raffle after the draw has taken place, then we will make every attempt to contact the participant and, unless we have been unsuccessful in contacting the entrant, we will make a full refund of the purchased raffle tickets to that person and any prizes that might otherwise have been due to them will not be paid out. If prizes have already been paid out, all reasonable attempts will be made to recover them. Whilst every effort is made to not send any of our Summer Raffle mail packs to persons under 18 years old, in the unlikely circumstances when our pack is received by someone who is under 18, they or their legal guardian must inform us immediately. In any case, the raffle tickets cannot be sold to or sold by a person who is under 18 years of age.
8. You accept that we may be unable to provide refunds once you have purchased your Summer Raffle tickets.
9. The opening date of the Summer Raffle is 30th June 2026 which is the proposed landing date for our Summer Raffle mailing. The closing date of the Summer Raffle is 11th August 2026 for both postal entries to be returned and online tickets to be purchased. The online raffle ticket site will close after that date. Any postal entries received after the closing date will be treated as donations.
10. If for any reason the details on a postal entry form are illegible, the accompanying payment will be treated as a donation.
11. Highland Hospice accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
12. Highland Hospice may reject any entry without giving reason at its absolute discretion if it has reasonable grounds to do so. No detail in the entry may be changed in any way once it has been submitted, except for a change of contact details. Highland Hospice reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
13. We will endeavour to notify the winner by phone in the first instance and will post the letter confirming their win with their cheque (using contact details on the online entry form/provided on the reply form) within 5 working days of the draw date. If we do not have a telephone number or cannot reach the winner, they will just be notified and sent their cheque by post (using contact details on the online entry form/provided on the reply form). A postal address must be provided to claim the prize and it is your responsibility to notify us of any change of address. If a winner does not bank a cheque within 6 months, then their prize will be forfeited and the prize money will be void/cancelled unless the winner requests the prize to be treated as a charitable donation to Highland Hospice.
14. All entrants are solely responsible for providing Highland Hospice with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and Highland Hospice will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. In the event that the entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising Highland Hospice of the change.
15. Highland Hospice reserves the right to publish and use for promotional purposes, the winners’ name which will be published on the of the website. and may also be included in promotional material for subsequent raffles. The winners’ details will be in summary form i.e. Mrs [surname] from [county/ town]. We may also look to publish any image and/or quote from the winners, subject to them being happy with providing us with this information and consenting that we publish it.
16. The decision of Highland Hospice regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
17. Highland Hospice reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Summer Raffle where it becomes necessary to do so - we would retain any amounts which were paid prior to any such suspension/cancellation taking effect and we would notify you of further details. The draw date for the Summer Raffle is 17th August 2026.
18. Highland Hospice staff/volunteers/trustees and their families are able to participate in the Summer Raffle unless they are involved in the administration of the raffle draw in which case they must be excluded. This applies to the staff/volunteer/trustee’s family too.
19. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed in line with Data Protection Act 2018 as set out in the Highland Hospice Privacy Policy which can be found here.

21. 22. Payment for Summer Raffle tickets online should not be made using a credit card as per Gambling Commission regulations.
