An uplifting and supportive environment
Our aim in specialist palliative care is to improve the quality of life for people throughout the Highlands who have life limiting illness and require specific treatment for difficult problems such as pain and symptom control or require rehabilitation.
Highland Hospice provides a Day Therapy service in Inverness three days a week and in Caithness on a fortnightly basis. The Inverness service is based in The Netley Day Therapy Centre at Highland Hospice. The Caithness service is based in Lyth Arts Centre between Wick and Thurso.
Patient, Family and Carer Support
At Highland Hospice, the focus of our care is not limited to the individual who is unwell; we also offer support and advice to their family and those close to them. The Family Support Service is an important part of our commitment to the importance that these relationships play in life.
