Get On Your Bike for the Hospice!

16 April 2013

Join us for a day of fun on the Black Isle!

Our Black Isle Cycle Challenge, which has once again been generously sponsored by Ord Industrial and Commercial Supplies, takes place on Saturday 27th April.

Participants have four routes to choose from so everyone can get involved and enjoy the day, which raises vital funds for our patients.

Route choices are:
• 6 mile
• 15 mile
• 20 mile
• 26 mile

All four routes will start and finish at the Resolis Memorial Hall in the Black Isle, where participants will be able enjoy a BBQ along with musical entertainment and fun activities for all ages once they have completed their cycle. We also have some great mascots from Party People there on the day to help entertain the family.

There is no registration fee for this event, but we urge all participants to try and raise as much sponsorship as possible for Highland Hospice. This year we have an added incentive for doing this because, as well as helping your local Hospice, all participants who raise over £100 for Highland Hospice will be entered into a draw to win a brand new iPad!

Last year 500 participants took part in the event, and an incredible £20,000 was raised for Highland Hospice.

Highland Hospice fundraiser Amanda Burt said:
“The Black Isle Cycle Challenge is one of our most popular events. Over the years it has raised an incredible amount of money for the Hospice, and it is a great day of fun for all participants and spectators.
“We would like to thank Ord Industrial and Commericial Supplies for supporting the event once again, and due to different routes we have on offer it is an event that everyone can get involved in. Please support Highland Hospice and sign up online now!”

If you want to take part in the Black Isle Cycle Challenge you can register online at www.highlandhospice.org/bicc or by contacting Amanda Burt on 01463 227913.
