This money has come from the participants registration fee, sponsorship money raised by some of the participants, funds raised from a special Love to Lose fitness class which was held weekly by Jamie Tulloch at his studio, and a £200 contribution from Café 1 who had a special healthy dish on the menu throughout the period of the competition and £1 from each dish sold was donated back to Highland Hospice.

Amanda Burt, Highland Hospice fundraiser said:
“We are absolutely delighted with the success of Love to Lose, we have almost doubled the number of participants, and it has managed to raise a fantastic amount of money for Highland Hospice. We are extremely grateful for the support from all the weigh in stations, and we would like to thank Café 1 and Jamie Tulloch for their contribution, along with Technip, Fit 4 Less and Bikes of Inverness for sponsoring the prizes.  We would also like to thank all the participants, and wish them all a well done for their hard work.”
