MD Fiddes Employees Reach Summit for Highland Hospice

31 August 2016

Two employees of LGV and Forklift Training Provider MD Fiddes, David Mackintosh and Cameron Cumming, have raised a fantastic £2733 for Highland Hospice by climbing Ben Nevis on 14th August.

Cameron said, “I had been thinking about walking up Ben Nevis for a while and thought it would be daft not to do it for charity!  Highland Hospice came to my mind straight away as I’ve lost friends to cancer and have family members and friends who are dealing with it currently. I then asked David to join me as his father is going through treatment just now.  The walk was not as hard as we thought as we had done plenty of training, although it was very misty at the summit. Both David and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported us.”

Highland Hospice Corporate Fundraiser Lisa Long said, “On behalf of everyone at Highland Hospice I would like to say a massive thank you to Cameron and David for choosing to fundraise for us and raising such a fantastic amount.”
