Two important local charities benefited from the Insurance Institute of Inverness, The Highlands and Islands’ annual dinner last month.

Guests took part in a raffle on the night which raised £2,300, and Institute members chose to split the money raised equally between Highland Hospice and Mikeysline.

Paul Chiffers, President of the Institute said, “Having seen the crucial work being carried out by the Highland Hospice and MikeysLine we were only too happy to support both charities. It is the first time that the institute has chosen the 2 charities as our beneficiaries and we were delighted that we managed to raise significantly more at this year’s dinner than in previous years which is a reflection of how valued these charities are. I must may special thanks to all the companies who attended and donated prizes on the evening.”

Highland Hospice Corporate Fundraiser Lisa Long said, “We are really grateful to the Insurance Institute of Inverness for choosing to support Highland Hospice through their dinner. This donation is very much appreciated by the patients and loved ones who we care for.”
