Highland Hospice is due to reopen its charity shop on 43 High Street following a period of being closed for refurbishment. The new look shop is due to open to the public on Wednesday 6th February.
Highland Hospice’s Retail Manager Susan Cooper said, “It is wonderful to see our shop in Forres shaping up to look so good. The refurbishment has been long overdue and will provide a nicer shopping experience for customers as well as a better working environment for our volunteers.”
“I would especially like to thank the shop’s supervisor Mairi Skivington and her team of volunteers for all the hard work they have put into making this happen.”
She added, “We are always looking for good quality donations which we move between our shops to where they are best placed in order to maximise fundraising. A large part of our income comes from the Hospice’s shops across the whole of the Highlands, and our retail operation plays a vital part in enabling us to provide a high standard of care to patients and their loved ones at a difficult time.”
The Forres shop will be open from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm. If you are interested in volunteering, you can email or visit our volunteering page.
