Our fundraising team works hard to organise a full and varied calendar of events each year. These events include cycling, running, walking, Zip lines, dancing, golf, quizzes, ceilidhs and fayres amongst other things. There truly is something for everyone! Helping at one of our events is fun, flexible and fulfilling!

Main responsibilities and suggested activities

This will depend on the individual event, but you could be expected to:

  • help unwrap mountain bikes (Highland Cross)
  • hand out water bottles / marshall event participants (Inverness Marathon, Zipline or Black Isle Cycle Challenge)
  • sell raffle tickets at various venues (Grand Prize Draw)
  • sell items at a stall (Pop Up Xmas shop and Xmas Fayers)
  • help registration at events (Black Isle Cycle Challenge)
  • help set up events venue (Strictly)
  • helping Santa (Santa’s Grotto)
  • setting up/dismantling gazebos (all outdoor events)

Skills / attributes and/or qualification(s) required

  • A friendly and outgoing personality
  • A good level of fitness is essential as this role can involve lots of walking or standing
  • Willingness to work with a team
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions
